WHAT IS A GHOST WALK?
A ghost walk is basically a guided walking tour, where you will visit sites of historical hauntings. In the case of this ghost walk, you will hear spooky stories, enjoy some dark humour and take in magnificent views of our haunted, old city.
HOW MUCH IS THE TOUR?
The Deathly Dark Tour
Adult tickets are £10, child tickets are £6 (subject to change)
Foul Fiends & Mysterious Murders
Adult tickets are £14, child tickets are £10 (subject to change)
This covers headset hire and smaller group size.
HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?

There are additional tours scheduled over school holidays and of course Halloween.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
70 - 90 minutes

The Deathly dark tours end at either Shambles or Clifford's tower
Foul Fiends will end at Kings Square
IS IT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
Deathly dark tours - Absolutely. Imagine Horrible Histories, but with a little more innuendo for the grown ups.
Foul Fiends - this depends how your child is with certain subject matters, such as murder and crime.
ARE DOGS WELCOME?
A hundred times yes. All well behaved dogs are welcome!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This is an outdoor event. We recommend dressing to suit the weather on the day of your tour, whether that is blazing sunshine or a howling gale. Sensible shoes are always recommended.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Castle Car Park is ideal. If you arrive after 6pm, it is £4 for the evening.

of York. We are storytellers and history enthusiasts and have a passion for sharing this wonderful old

WHEN DO THE PUBS CLOSE?
An excellent question, with various answers. We suggest The Last Drop Inn for post tour drinks. You will also get 10% off drinks when you show your same day tour ticket!
The tour ends within easy walking distance of numerous pubs, bars and restaurants.
Ask your guide, they can send you off in the right direction.
